Last Vanguard is a Metroidvania shooter-platformer with RPG elements and hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animations. Explore with freedom a stunning hand-crafted world ravaged by war and ruled by an evil tyrant. Face a wide variety of enemies as you customize your strategy, switch weapons, and unlock active and ive abilities. Form unexpected alliances and discover breathtaking locations amidst the desolation. So far so good. Controls feel tight, appropriate difficulty, really cool art design. Not too much story yet so waiting for more. Fun game play so far. I’m playing on OLED steam deck and it plays great. Fugl 202l1r

I loved this game. The visuals are incredible, the combat and movement is buttery smooth and responsive. I loved the variety of weapons available. The exploration was meaningful and impactful. There are a ton of bosses that all felt unique. The game is a bit challenging (I played on the hardest difficulty) but fair. I loved the platforming elements in the last zone Incredible indie game, especially considering how little attention I’ve seen it get. If it looks interesting, I would give it a shot, I feel like the trailers and images give a good representation of the gameplay.
