Soooo, I’ll be blatant and start this off by saying that Punch Club 2, in my opinion, blatantly just wasn’t as good as Punch Club 1. There are several reasons for this but as a whole its what I’d describe as ‘messy’. Harbor Havoc Lag Method Teleport Roblox Scripts
Several plotthreads/characters/ideas aren’t resolved and the game genuinely suffers from some bad bloat. From what I understand Punch Club 2 has been under development for several years now and it seems that at certain points the devs had tons of ideas, many of them fun, but for whatever reason(time constraints, lack resources, etc) they decided not to implement them fully. An example of this is I hate to say this, as I did enjoy the game, but this unfinished feeling kinda permeates the entire playthrough.
Second, it also failed to capture as much of the same nostalgic 80s action hero vibe as the first one did. Instead of showing the ridiculous zaniness of that era through… well, action they take a far heavier hand and seem to forcefully spell it out to you. Instead of the MC feeling like a ‘real’ character of this world they almost seem inserted. This is a hard feeling to put into direct words but it honestly felt like the first game was just more genre savy than this one. If I’m also honest, I didn’t love some of the more meta jokes that were told. They were kinda funny at first but quickly lost quite a bit of their charm
